Dwarka

INTRODUCTION

Situated on the extreme north-west tip of the saurashtra peninsula. Dwarka is among the seven most holy places of the Hindus. It is associated with Lord Krishna, the legendary hero of the Maharashtra. The Temple of Dwarkanath is remarkable for its architectural grace and attracts pilgrims from all parts of India all the year round.

Dwarka is 217 Km from Rajkot and 137 Km from Jamnagar, two major towns in Saurashtra, and 378 KM, from Ahmedabad.
