Removal goods.

· Original passport of owner, and passport copies of each family member.
· Original of Ocean Bill of Lading/Airway Bill
· Complete copy of Inventory (packing list)
· Consignee block on OBL/AWB must show owner's name (same as passport) and c/o destination agent.
· Working permit from Government (Chinese) or Original of Alien Resident Certificate. In this respect please contact your agent before shipping the household goods.

Each family is only allowed to bring one stove, refrigerator, dryer, washer
· Each member of the family is only allowed to bring one air conditioner, TV Set, Stereo Set, Dehumidifier, Amplifier, Turn Table, Speaker Set, Tape Deck, Receiver.
Above items must be used personal effects, and if new, should be removed from original box and repacked to avoid high duty.

Customer should complete the Declaration Form given to them on board the Airlines in transit to Taiwan, particularly item 18 under "Unaccompanied Baggage" to indicate "Personal household effects".
This is to avoid delay in processing of customs clearnce.
The following articles are prohibited from entry by law :
1. Counterfeit coins, security notes, bank-notes, plates or dies for printing or casting forged currencies.
2. Gambling apparatus, lottery tickets and other similar prize tickets issued in foreign countries.
3. Obscene and indecent books, publications, pictures, articles, and videos.
4. Publications and articles propagating communism.
5. Any articles produced, manufactured or originated in Communist China, North Korea, Vietnam, Albania, Roumania, U.S.S.R. and Cuba.
6. Arms and ammunition, cartridges, explosives, poisonous gas and other weapons of war.
7. Opium, cannabis idica, cocaine and products, and other dangerous drugs.
8. Toy guns, ornamental swords and knives.
9. Articles infringing the rights of patents, of designs and trade-marks, and the copy rights of other persons.
10. Contraband articles as specified by other Laws. e.g. Fruits, vegetables and other foodstuffs coming from places prevailing with injurious pests and plant disease, and/or any animals and pets from an infected area.

To be imported with personal effects, would be duty free.

Cars, motorcycles

· Import licence

One family is only allowed to import one car, which can not be combined with owner's household goods.
Your car cannot be sent before the destination agent obtains the import licence in Taiwan.

Dogs, Cats (from rabies area).

1. Accompanied
· Import Licence
· copy of owner's passport
· copy of owner's ticket
· Health certificate and vaccination certificate approved by Government.
· Photo (animal) 6 copies.
2. Unaccompanied (Air cargo)
· import Licence
· Job certificate (in Taiwan ) for owner.
· Health certificate and vaccination certificate
· Photo (animal) 6 copies.

Need quarantine at least
1. 63 days (Area of Rabies)
2. 49 days (Need a certificate, approved by Government that the dog/cat has been quarantined for 2 weeks in Kennels in the original country).

Please note :
You cannot import the animal before your agent obtains the import licence in Taiwan.

Dogs, Cats (from area free of rabies)

· Health, and vaccination certificate approved by the Government.
· Photo (animal) 4 copies
· Copy of passport.
Please telex the destination agent before you send the animal to Taiwan.

Need quarantine only one week.

Birds

Certificate of No Fowl Pest, No Newcastle disease, No Psitta Casis, approved by the Department of Agriculture of Local Government.

Quarantine of no more than 7 days in Taiwan.

Before sending the bird, please contact your agent for updated and additional information.
Do NOT send the bird before your agent agrees.
